Abstract

This research examines the employment status of fresh graduates from the Department of Media Studies, UM. It identifies their marketability and qualities in terms of their attitute, knowledge and skills. The survey findings show that the rate of employment is high among the graduates and there is no significant difference between races and between genders. However, there are differences in other areas.


Penyelidikan ini mengkaji status pekerjaan graduan baru dari Jabatan Pengajian Media, UM. Ini mengenal pasti kebolehpasaran dan kualiti mereka dari segi sifat, pengetahuan dan kemahiran mereka. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahawa kadar pekerjaan adalah tinggi di kalangan siswazah dan tidak ada perbezaan yang signifikan antara kaum dan antara jantina. Walau bagaimanapun, terdapat perbezaan di kawasan lain.
